I've been dj-ing in one form or another since I got my first job spinning in October 1987. Back then, it was all about the sl-1200's and a vast vinyl library; the club I worked in was a converted movie theatre and the place to be on a saturday night.
Since then I've become more digitally inclined - turntables and coloured vinyl have made way for laptops and mp3's, but the message is still the same: music is king, let it rule.
I have no misconceptions about what I do - I play music for people who like to dance; I'm not interested in popularity contests and if i actually do have a following of any sort, well, that's cool (and very unexpected).
I post mixes to djmix.net, and have picked up a regular gig at ravescum.com doing dubstep/grime mixes...stay tuned, I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun.
